We Read Romance is an online book club community for romance readers.

Our official pick—October 2026

This month, we’ll be reading our second Laurie Gilmore book together—the first in her new Maple Hollow series.

This story is a sexy retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, the perfect little paranormal, magical read for fall.

We are in Discord! This space is more interactive than our old home in Fable and provides us with the ability to share more with each other and host live meetings.

This month, we’ll also be tackling a sentient object romance about a woman who falls in love with her giant Halloween decoration. What could be more fun than that?

As always, all side quests are totally optional and are basically just buddy reads on steroids. If more than three of us want to read something, you better believe it’ll become a group side quest.

This one, I am certain, will not take itself too seriously.
