Enticingly light-hearted romance at its best, Susan Mallery’s All Summer Long, is the continuation of her Fool’s Gold Stryker Brother mini-series. Throwing together Clay Stryker—who returns home after years of being a supermodel and movie body double—and Chantal (Charlie) Dixon—a firefighter with serious intimacy issues.
With true Mallery style, the heroine takes charge and is determined to overcome some very deep, very emotional scars with the help of the supremely gorgeous Clay. Clay is the best of both worlds, he’s gorgeous, kind and very capable of helping a woman do pretty much whatever needs to be done. Together the two find they are more suited than either would have thought.
If you’re following the Fool’s Gold series and all the mini-series Mallery intertwines, this one is going to be one of your favorites I’m sure. It’s full of emotion, fairly fast-paced and very romantic. It’s hard to pick just one, really, but of the three (I’ve been fortunate enough to now read all three!) in the Stryker Brother’s grouping this one stayed in my thoughts longest. I’m eager to see if Eva—their sister—has her own story soon. Hint, hint, Ms. Mallery!
